Photo of the Day: Honeysuckle

I went hunting for a photo to post and was looking for something to match my mood- gloomy and hostile. Alas, all I could find were happy, pretty pictures.

This was taken at a lavender farm in Kelowna, BC this past summer when R and I were on holidays visiting family.

Life is a bit ironic like that isn't it!?! Well it is a beautiful photo and you definitely have a talent!!

just remember what you say in your self proclamation: Everything that happens in my life (for better or worse) allows me to grow and be a better person.

This too shall pass my friend, you will look back and remember the happy moments that you and your lo have together. The dark and gloomy will be a distant memory.

Love this shot. But then, I think I love everything you've shown.

Just think, sometime in the future you'll be looking for bright and happy shots and all you'll find will be the gloomy shots that were hiding today. ;)

I love the picture totally....The foreground stands out so well against the purple at the back....

Wishing some relief for you....

There was a bucket of water and a bucket of whisky in front of a donkey. The donkey went ahead and drank from the bucket of water. Showing this to an alcoholic, the cop asked him about the implied learning from the incident. The drunkard replied: "Whoever does not drink is an ass."

That's the kind of thing that always makes me laugh at myself a little - when I'm in a completely foul mood and all I can find is happy stuff.

But it is a beautiful picture!

The house I grew up in had a lattice on the end of the porch that was covered in honeysuckle. I loved the smell of the honeysuckles at night. It brings back so many memories.
